Horgan Asks For Backing Of Fans Ahead Of Dundalk Match on Saturday

Despite defeats in the last three games, Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan says his players are looking forward to the huge challenge that Premier Division leaders Dundalk will post in Ballybofey on this Saturday night (kick-off 8.00). Horgan was speaking to Finn Harps  Media following a Press Conference at Letterkenny’s Radisson Blu Hotel on Wednesday evening. Horgan was joined at the media event by first team squad members Jacob Borg and Mark Russell.

“We are playing the current league leaders and the reigning Premier Division champions so it’s going to be a huge battle for us. But, it’s something the lads are still looking  forward to and we have prepared as best we can this week. It’s going to take everything going for us and Dundalk not being at their best for us to get a result. All we can hope for that we perform to the best of our ability and see where that takes us” Horgan said.

Once again the Harps manager appealed to the club’s supporters to come out and back the players who he said were so committed to keeping the team in the Premier Division. “As I’ve said before we need every little advantage and the fans getting behind from start to finish would be a huge help to the players and hopefully that might give us that little bit more in terms of getting a result on Saturday night.”
