Finn Harps is on the road tomorrow to play St. Patrick Athletic at Richmond Park (kick-off 7.45). After the recent disappointing run of results, manager Ollie Horgan says the sole focus this week has been on looking forward to getting something from the game in Inchicore. “We can’t go back and change what has happened over the last four games, but we have a chance now to turn things around against Pat’s tomorrow night. That won’t be easy but the lads have to step and try it make it happen. We did draw up there in the early stages of the season and it would be great to repeat that result” Horgan said.
Harps lost 2-0 to St. Pat’s in April at Finn Park and Harry Kenny’s men sit fifth in the table, 18 points ahead of Horgan’s outfit who remain bottom on goal difference from UCD. “We have the two-week break coming up after tomorrow night so it would be great if we could produce a performance that would give everyone at the club boost for the restart of the league at the end of the month.”
Horgan has to plan without the suspended Mark Coyle while John Kavanagh, Michael Gallagher, Harry Ascroft and Ciaran Gallagher remain out through injury. However, Caolan McAleer and Sean Boyd return to the squad following respective one match bans.
