Finn Harps will be going all out to get a positive result against Bohemians when the two sides meet at Finn Park on this Friday night (kick-off 8.00).
It comes on the back of Ollie Horgan’s men losing the previous three league games this season against Bohs. The visitors will be coming to Finn Park looking for the three points as they strive to hold on to third place in the Premier Division which would guarantee them European football next season.
It is going to be very difficult for Harps, despite victories in the last two matches over Waterford Utd and Derry. Horgan says extending the recent run to three games unbeaten will be a big ask for his side.
“Bohs have got the better of us three times this season. Two of the games were 1-0 in their favour. Up at Dalymount in the last game it was 5-3 to them. They are 16 points ahead of us in the table so it’ll be some result if we get even a point against them on Friday night” Horgan said.
There’s only nine game left and Harps have just four of them at home, so it is a game that the hosts will be really targeting to pick up at least a point. “Bohs will be favourites to win but that is the challenge our lads must face up to tomorrow night. It’s like every other game, we always go to get a positive result and provided everyone works hard then we will have a decent cut at that . They have a nice blend players with varying levels of experience like Derek Pender, Darragh Leahy, Luke Wade-Slater, Keith Buckley, Kevin Devaney and Danny Mandriou who is an Irish U21 international” Horgan said.
