It’s a hectic Saturday for underage football at Finn Harps F.C. with four teams in National League action. It will be an historic occasion for the U13s who will be the first boys from the club to play in the brand new league for this age-group.
The Finn Harps v Shamrock Rovers game is being jointly sponsored by the Liverpool FC Supporters Club Donegal and the Manchester City FC Supporters Club Donegal, and in support of We Care Food Bank this game has been designated as a Food Bank collection point on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd March.

The game goes ahead at the Athlone Town Stadium with Harps manager Ollie Horgan and his assistant Paul Hegarty getting another opportunity to assess players ahead of the opening League of Ireland Premier Division fixture next Friday night against Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
FinnHarps F.C. wish to welcome confirmation from the FAI that the Club has been awarded a Licence for the 2019 SSE Airtricity League season. The announcement was made following a meeting of the Independent Club Licensing Committee of the Football Association of Ireland.
Finn Harps suffered their first defeat of the pre-season friendly campaign on Friday night losing 3-0 to Derry City at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium. Ollie Horgan’s outfit started slowly and paid the price as the hosts grabbed three first half goals courtesy of Adrian Delap, Eoin Toal and Patrick McClean.
